Background Info

Ladbrokespoker.com are part of Ladbrokes, the betting and gaming division of Hilton Group plc, the world's premier international hotel brand.

Overall Rating

As the biggest European Poker room there are a lot of tables to choose from. Plenty of high stakes games. Players from the USA are NOT allowed to play.

Software look & feel

Although Ladbrokes uses Microgaming software they do not share players with the rest of the Prima Poker Network as most Microgaming rooms do. The software is not the most pleasing to the eye but it is very functional. The software is fast and the hands play out very quickly compared to the slow pace of some poker rooms. Good lobby information with Average pot, Players / Flop and Hands per Hour. There are three table views available Large, Normal and Mini.

Tournaments

Single table tournaments start at $2 (with a $0.30 entry fee) and go up to $5000 ($150 entry). Multi table tournaments range from $1(No entry fee) to $500 ($40). The average entry fee is 10%. There are frequent true 'Freerolls' where you can win a cash prize with outlay at all. At peak times there are about 2000 tournament players

Ring games

The lowest stake limit game is $0.10/$0.20, the highest is $300/$600. No-Limit games range from $0.10/$0.20 to $25/$50 and have a minimum and maximum buy-in of 20-40 big bets and 100 big bet respectively. The high stakes tables do see a lot of action compared to many sites. At peak times there are about 3000 ring game players

Game Selection

Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha High-Low, 7 Card Stud, 5 card Stud.

Rake

The standard rake is 5% of the pot size, max. $3.00.

The maximum is lower at Micro-Limits.
